Zalize is an independent software studio. No investors to impress, no growth targets to chase — just small, honest tools that people actually use, for learning, work and everyday life. Independence is what makes that honesty possible: every decision only has to be right for the people who use the tools.
We stay small on purpose. Small means every product gets real care: we build tools we need ourselves, keep them simple and private, and ship them in the open — one product at a time, finished properly before we move to the next.
The proof is live. Fifty-five works ship from this studio today — from a browser-local PDF toolbox whose files never leave your device, to pay-as-you-go transcription whose credits never expire. Honest defaults, honest pricing, no dark patterns.

No investors, no growth targets.
Zalize began in 2026 with a simple frustration: too much everyday software is bigger, louder and less honest than it needs to be. Tools that hold your files hostage. Prices that hide until checkout. Features that exist to be demoed rather than used.
We chose to stay independent because honesty is structural, not aspirational. With no investors to impress and no growth targets to chase, the only people we answer to are the ones using the tools. That is not a marketing line — it is the whole operating model.
Where we are today, honestly: a small studio with fifty-five works in the catalog — web apps, mini programs, extensions, desktop apps and open source. Most are free or pay-as-you-go, and none of them are finished. Some have found their users; some are still looking. Either way, we publish what we learn — and we would rather show you fifty-five live works than one polished roadmap.
